I'm new here so have mercy with me. I have experience in developing different application and I want to ask if it's possible to develop custom extension(or something else ... scripts maybe) that will allow me to download/import data from different data sources(ASCII files for example) into Personal StockStreamer.

Adding custom quote data sources is currently not possible. To enable that feature would require us to charge for the software separately. Since our users already pay a monthly fee to the data providers, we wanted to avoid a separate software fee. It's been a topic of some discussion over here.

At the current time we only support paid data services in Personal Stock Streamer.

Having said that, are you looking to do this just for your own personal use or are you exploring this topic for some business reason?
