Have DRIP accounts that have share balances that allow factional shares with up to 6 decimal precision. When a stock split is added to your account they round the amount of shares added to your account. Consequently, when you enter a transaction in this software you merely enter your the ratio, which if rounded in DRIPS, makes your balance in this software inaccurate.

I hope that I have explained this problem sufficiently. Could there be a way that the amount of shares added to your account be calculate, but also be override by the user?

Unfortunately this is a problem due to the limited precision of the current fixed decimal support. The only solution I can suggest at this point is to enter adjustment transactions to set the correct share balance using the Transfer In or Transfer Out transactions.
