I am currently using TDAmeritrade stream.

I use PSS to monitor portfolio, but would like to be able to record offical end of day stock quotes/performance at the end of every day.

The problem is that PSS continues to update price quotes with extended hours trading, at least with TDAmeritrade. I have tried to stop price updating at 4 pm, but that still seems to leave most quotes incorrect from their official end of day pricing.

Anything I can do about this?

The best you can do is stop quotes at 4PM, but there really isn't a good solution for this because we can't know from the stream data what the official last trade of the day is.

Please excuse my lack of knowledge, but would it be possible to change quote servers after 4:00PM so that we could obtain official end of day quotes? I also have a TD Ameritrade brokerage account.

All of the quote servers currently available in PSS will stream past end of market, so this would not get you the numbers you want.

You could just turn off streaming at the end of the day... its under the Online tab

I use DTN IQ Feed and had the same problem. I solved it by linking my excel sheet to the IQ Link file as follows: =iqlink|YHOO!Last.

This file gives the official end of day quote, even though the price of the stock on PSS continues to change after-hours. Hope this helps.
