Ok. Thanks for bearing taking this time to help me reproduce this.

The reason is you're using the old money.net plugin that we dropped support for some ages ago.

The reason you're still able to get quotes from them is because of doing an upgrade over the older version. I had thought collabinvest would work but with the old plugin but forgot about that logic.

If you want to continue using money.net we can discuss your development questions in the developers forum. I just thought it might be a bit more convenient to chat in collabinvest.

I am curious though, has money.net been working for you? Have you seen many outages?

hey...thx for your patient on this silly/small issue. I appreciate it.

As for money.net i signed up about a month ago to your streamer and thier data service (less expensive). It has worked fine every day....watch me jinks myself now...LOL Are thier features or aspects to prophet.net that i should consider? Again, i've not had a problem wiht money.net....YET.

I really am not using your app that much other than providing a stock list of 30 or so leaders and i use the streaming feature into Excel through the DDE. In excel i do most of my work in a very rough 'work around' by copying and pasting macro of the streamed data every 30 sec or so from this portf or stocks. Then i do my work with it., which btw is not too sophisticated.

As noted in my earlier post i want a easier way and less burdensome to my cpu and apps to get the tick or near last sale data so i can create real time pnf charts of particular symbols in this portf list. That's my next project which you have already provided me some real homework to start using these higher level objects (since i'm not too strong on this and have no OOprograming except a bit of VB).

If money.net is working for you now keep using them; we just no longer support them and won't be including them in future versions of the software.

Let's move the rest of this discussion over to the developers forum since it's really a development topic. I guess you saw the sample code I put up there for you.

As for OO programming there's no time for like the present. If you're up for putting in the time to learn we'll try to help you out time permitting by answering questions and helping you with code snippets. In the end you'll walk away with more capabilities. I'm sure this is not the last time you'll have a need to do some coding.

But seriously, let's move this over to the developers forum. If you have development questions ask there.
