It this doesn't just depend on your computer and lan/wan, but also on all the computers and routers between you and the streaming server, and the streaming server itself, so there are lost of possible places where the connection could go bad. That said, the behavior you describe should still almost never happen. Which quote service are you using?

If everything on my computer and LAN/WAN were working correctly, would I expect to routinely see the yellow light? or almost never?

The indicator turns yellow if the streaming feed gets disconnected. It stays yellow while PSS is trying to reconnect.

This was an oversight and fixed in the current build on the web site, so you can correct it by re-downloading the software and reinstalling.

Hi,

The file created by tdastreamer.txt is enormous - 36MB in just the last hour, and distracts my system from realtime streaming activities. How can I turn it off?

The extension code is stored in a database, so you really don't have have access to it. However we previously posted the trailing stop code at http://www.personalstockstreamer.com/developers/trailing_stop_extension so you can modify it as you wish. Just keep in mind that you can't have two extension classes with the same name, so before installing your modified version you would either need to uninstall the previous one, or change the name of the classes used in your version of the code (adding a "2" after everything or some similar change would be enough).

Hi - Thanks for the great progam! Forgive my ignorance, but where are the extensions stored? As in, I'd like to modify the Trailing Stop extension to force it to use only the current price as the default high water mark...all the purchase prices are so much higher than the current prices that every time the price changes on most of the stocks, it triggers the alert! I just want to start monitoring the changes based on the current price. Or, is there some way to modify the high water mark after it is loaded into the program?

thank you Yermo, I'm sorry I should have been more specific. I was refering to the intraday chart, not the historical. I see the OHLC is available on historical but not the intraday. It would be nice to have this on the intraday.

Open a chart.

Click on Edit (lower left corner)

Select the Main indicator. It'll probably say "Candle" next to it.

Click on the Edit Parameters button.

Select OHLC (Open High Low Close).

I use PSS streamed charting however for those of us who prefer bars (hi, Lo, Close) over candles would it be possible to add this feature to the current charting options?

If you are trying to import them from a file, one ticker per line will work.

Right now the price performance report is not configurable, so it's not possible to get custom days without modifying the script. In the future we will make it more easily configurable.

I need to add a large number of tickers to my custom watchlist. How can i do so. I was trying the comma demilter to seperate multiple tickers but it wouldnt add them. Could you please help me with this.

Also i was trying to use the price performance report for custom days (30,90, 120, 150,180). is there are way to get that.
